Terms and Conditions for MR DPF Vehicle Emissions Australia

1. Scope of Service

MR DPF Vehicle Emissions Australia provides mobile diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning and diagnostic services only.

Our service is designed to remove soot and restore DPF functionality. It does not repair or replace underlying mechanical faults within the vehicle.

2. Pre-Existing Mechanical Issues (CRITICAL PROTECTION)

By proceeding with our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your vehicle may have pre-existing mechanical, electrical, or system faults

  • MR DPF is not responsible for any faults, failures, or damage that arise due to pre-existing conditions

  • The DPF cleaning process does not cause mechanical faults, but may expose existing issues that were previously undetected

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Faulty sensors

  • Turbo issues

  • EGR valve faults

  • Injector issues

  • Engine wear or damage

3. Limitation of Liability

MR DPF Vehicle Emissions Australia shall not be held liable for:

  • Any existing or developing mechanical faults

  • Any loss of use of vehicle

  • Any financial loss, towing costs, or consequential damages

  • Any issues arising after service that are not directly caused by negligence

Our liability is strictly limited to the value of the service provided.

4. DPF Cleaning Guarantee

We guarantee that the DPF cleaning process will be completed correctly and professionally.

However:

  • We do not guarantee that dashboard warning lights will clear

  • We do not guarantee that the vehicle will exit limp mode if other faults exist

5. Grace Period (Service Follow-Up)

A 1-month grace period applies following a full DPF cleaning service (excludes diagnostic-only , regeneration bookings).

If your vehicle re-enters limp mode within this period:

  • We will return to assess the issue at no additional labour cost

However:
If the issue is found to be non-DPF related, the below diagnostic fees apply. one revisit only

6. Call-Out Diagnostic Fees (Within Grace Period)

If the issue is not DPF-related:

  • Cars: $299 (location dependent)

  • Trucks & Heavy Vehicles: $399 (location dependent)

7. Call-Out Diagnostic Fees (Outside Grace Period)

If outside the 1-month grace period:

  • Cars: $399 – $499 (location dependent)

  • Trucks & Heavy Vehicles: $499 - $599 (location dependent)

8. Diagnostics Report

A diagnostics report will be provided upon completion.

We recommend retaining this report with your service records.

9. Service Area & Travel

We operate Victoria-wide, with standard service coverage within a 100km radius of our Tarneit HQ.

  • Travel outside this radius may incur additional fees

  • Regional and interstate customers may be required to attend our head technician’s place in tarneit

  • Please contact bookings@mrdpf.com.au to confirm availability in your area

10. Warranty

As this is a cleaning service, no warranty applies to the service itself.

However:

  • Any parts supplied and installed (e.g., sensors) carry a 12-month supplier warranty

11. Environmental & Operating Conditions

Due to EPA and safety requirements, we may reschedule or cancel services under:

  • Extreme wind

  • Heavy rain

  • Extreme heat

This is to ensure safety of both technicians and environment.

12. Access & Safety Requirements (NEW – IMPORTANT)

Customers must ensure:

  • Safe and accessible working area

  • Adequate space beside the vehicle

  • No hazards or unsafe conditions

MR DPF reserves the right to refuse or stop work if the environment is unsafe.

13. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Minimum 48 hours’ notice required

  • Late cancellations incur a $199 fee

  • If rescheduled, this fee is credited toward your booking

14. Same-Day Cancellations (By MR DPF)

If we cancel your booking (non-weather related):

  • We will prioritise rebooking within 3 business days or next Saturday

15. No Guarantee of Long-Term Performance (IMPORTANT)

DPF cleaning is maintenance, not a permanent fix.

Ongoing vehicle performance depends on:

  • Driving habits

  • Fuel quality

  • Engine condition

Future blockages may occur and are not covered by this service.

16. Customer Responsibility (VERY IMPORTANT)

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate vehicle information

  • Maintaining their vehicle post-service

  • Following any aftercare recommendations

Failure to do so may impact results.

17. Treatment of Staff

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or inappropriate behaviour.

MR DPF reserves the right to:

  • Cancel bookings

  • Refuse service

  • Cease work immediately

18. Agreement to Terms

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
